Villu is the forthcoming joint venture of actor Vijay and director Prabhudeva(award winning choreographer). This combo has created lot of expectations mainly because of their previous hit POKKIRI.

After the moderate success of Kuruvi, upcoming Kollywood Superstar Vijay joined hands with famous choreographer-cum-director Prabhudeva who had already proven his skills with the actor in 2007 release Pokkiri.

Actor Vijay is expected to do his next tamil film for AVM productions with his much-awaited VILLU is set to release for Pongal festival on Janauary 15 2009. South India's Top heroine Nayantara plays Vijay's love interest in Villu whereas Asin is yet to give her nod to next Vijay movie.
